Nancy Blank, Director

Nancy Blank is an Associate of Teen Initiatives at the YMCA of Metropolitan Atlanta.  For the past ten years, Nancy has worked as the Director of Community Relations at The Carl E. Sanders Family YMCA at Buckhead.  Recently, she shifted focus, turned her attention to Atlanta’s teens and joined the Metro Atlanta’s YMCA Teen Initiatives. She has the pleasure of taking teens abroad for annual service projects in several countries including Israel, the Czech Republic, and Costa Rica.   Prior to joining the YMCA, Nancy worked at the Children’s Museum of Atlanta, The Piedmont Park Conservancy, and The Girl Scouts of Northwest Georgia.  She is also an adviser to the Atlanta Falcons Youth Foundation.

In 1993, Nancy received her Bachelor of Arts degree from Arizona State University in Broadcast Journalism.  After graduation, Nancy came back home to Georgia and joined the news team at WRBL-TV 3 in Columbus, Georgia as an anchor/reporter, then later at another CBS affiliate, WMAZ-TV in Macon, Georgia. Nancy and her husband, Kenny are actively involved in the philanthropic work of The Arthur M. Blank Family Foundation. They are the proud parents of two children. Nowadays, when she’s away from the office and not in carpool you can find her on the tennis court.  She’s always up for a friendly game of tennis.
