Seasoned conservation and environment expert will also lead the Blank Family Foundation’s Montana office

ATLANTA – Sept. 23, 2021 – The Arthur M. Blank Family Foundation has appointed Todd Graham as the Acting Managing Director of the newly-created Environment program and also as Head of the foundation’s Montana office. Graham will launch and lead the Blank Family Foundation’s Environment program area, which will be focused on conservation and climate, and he will oversee the growth of the foundation’s Montana philanthropy. He joined the foundation on Sept. 16.

“Todd brings tremendous experience in the environmental field, with deep knowledge of the many challenges, opportunities and strategic approaches the Blank Family Foundation might bring to addressing the most pressing environmental issues of our day. His work improving the ecological and financial performance of working ranches will be instrumental as we develop an environmental strategy that leverages both philanthropy and responsible business operations,” said Fay Twersky, president, The Arthur M. Blank Family Foundation.

Graham, a Wyoming native, has more than 20 years of experience influencing the management of nine million acres of working ranch lands in the western U.S. He has helped more than 25 ranches convert operations from traditional practices to conservation-oriented approaches that carried themselves financially. He has extensive experience in public-lands grazing issues and has helped to design and quantify the improvements of multiple wildlife habitat improvement projects.

“The Blank Family Foundation’s systems-based approach to conservation and its commitment to the wellbeing of communities, families and the environment made this role very appealing to me,” said Graham. “I look forward to working with the team in Montana to continue the foundation’s robust philanthropy and advance its work in conservation and climate locally, regionally and nationally.”
