Covid-19 Vaccinations at Mercedes-Benz Stadium
The Mercedes-Benz Stadium Community Vaccination Center has been operating as a vaccination site since January 4th, 2021 and since March 24 has been operating as a Federal Pilot Program Community Vaccination Center in partnership with FEMA, Georgia Emergency Management Agency, Atlanta-Fulton County Emergency Management Agency, Fulton Board of Health and the Department of Defense. To date, more than 100,000 doses of the vaccine have been administered. Over the course of the eight-week program with FEMA, 210,000 people will be fully vaccinated through 336,000 doses of the vaccine. The Mercedes-Benz Stadium Community Vaccination Center is the largest vaccination site in the southeast and has the ability to distribute more than 11,000 vaccines per day.
As we navigate this pandemic together, we are committed to partnering with organizations serving those in high-risk and vulnerable communities.
A Letter from the Chairman
Every Foundation staff meeting, the team begins with what they are most grateful for. A small gesture that reminds us to take a moment to step away from the emails and phone calls to acknowledge one another. Not only for the good work we do, but for who we are as humans and what we mean to each other on a deeper, more personal level.
