Associate-Led Giving Committees – 2022 Recap

Started in 2001 at the Mountain Sky Guest Ranch in Montana, the associate-led giving committees of the Blank Family of Businesses (BFOB) are designed to inspire associates to live our Core Values and to weave philanthropy into the fabric of everything we do.

Associates who serve on committees have the opportunity to research organizations and causes they are passionate about, inform funding priorities, evaluate grant applications, conduct site visits and monitor the impact of their grants.

The portfolio of associate-led giving committees has evolved and grown to seven committees operating across the BFOB, including:

• AMB West Community Fund
• Atlanta Falcons Youth Foundation
• Atlanta United Foundation
• Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Council Racial Justice Fund
• DreAMBoat
• PGA TOUR Superstore Community Fund
• The Overwatch Fund

In 2022, more than 40 BFOB associates participated in the committees providing more than $8 million in grants.

In February 2023, a survey was sent to associates to determine interest in joining the committees and planning is now underway for the committees’ community outreach and grantmaking for the year.

The associate-led giving committees of the BFOB exemplify one of our Core Values in action – Include Everyone. We encourage all of our associates to learn more about the committees and how they can make a direct impact in their communities.
