Paradise Valley Fire/EMS Department Received $300,000 Grant to Restore Emergency Response Capabilities

The Arthur M. Blank Family Foundation has awarded the Paradise Valley Fire/EMS Department a $300,000 grant to purchase a new water truck. This comes at a critical time, as the department’s main water truck recently failed, impacting its ability to fight fires and respond to emergencies across the region. The new truck will restore full operation’s full operational capacity, serving 3,000 residents and experiencing a 30% population increase during tourist season.

This grant continues the foundation’s support for the department. In 2002, its AMB West Community Fund, an associate-led group, provided a grant for a new fire truck, continuing a long-standing commitment to community support.
