Lea Bond
Program Director and Grants Administrator
Lea Bond is program director and grants administrator at The Arthur M. Blank Family Foundation, where she manages the full grants administration process, from invitation to approval and payment.
Prior to joining The Blank Family Foundation in 2004, Lea worked with the Cooperative Baptist Fellowship (CBF), where she managed the endorsement application process and worked with the Council on Endorsement. Prior to that, Lea was the office and special program coordinator for the National Kidney Foundation of Alabama (NKFA) and was responsible for the Kidney Cars Program, all Foundation accounting, and assisted with fundraising events and board preparation.
Lea has cultivated a passion for music, photography, writing, film, and graphic design, and has passed along her creativity to her daughter who excels at dance and theater. Lea is very involved in community work, serving a three-year term as Diaconate Community Outreach Chairman with First Presbyterian Church of Gainesville. She also served as Drama Board Treasurer and Creative Assistant at Davinci Academy and she currently is the Treasurer and charter member of the Johnson High School Drama Boosters, where her daughter participated and performed with the Starry Knight Players.
A native of Florida, Lea received her associate degree in Art and Art Education from Polk State College and a bachelor’s degree in Journalism and Advertising from Troy University. She and her husband, Kevin, have one daughter and live in Flowery Branch, Georgia.
