LMS wins $55,000 in sports gear
The new gear and sports equipment formed a veritable wall on one end of Louisville Middle’s gym. There were rows of footballs, soccer balls, basketballs, goals, jerseys, exercise equipment, cleats, rackets, nets, agility equipment like hurdles, backstops and so much more.
“In total you guys are receiving over $50,000 in brand new sports equipment and facility upgrades,” Aaron Johnson, a Good Sports Partnership Assistant told the students gathered in the gym. “That’s over 800 pieces of equipment for you guys to use in PE and on your athletic teams. We just hope you guys enjoy the equipment, get to be active and follow all of your passions when it comes to sports and physical activities.”
