The Atlanta Falcons Youth Foundation makes investments in nonprofit organizations that demonstrate capacity to reduce obesity and improve fitness among school-age children in Georgia. In particular, investments in innovative ways to move more children from sedentary to active lifestyles. Partners may serve kids at after-school programs or at school during the school day.
Through the Georgia Food Oasis campaign, the Atlanta Falcons Youth Foundation supports organizations pursuing innovative ways for Georgia kids and families to gain increased access to healthy, affordable food, with a strong interest in efforts that demonstrate promise for large-scale change across Atlanta or the state.
With its latest set of Food Oasis grants, the Atlanta Falcons Youth Foundation is supporting clever innovation and scalable solutions that change the food futures for Georgia kids and families, especially those most impacted by the long-term effects of the COVID-19 pandemic.
The portfolio includes more than $2 million in grants to 23 organizations. The grants will work to ensure that youth understand the lifecycle of healthy eating and also support local farmers throughout Georgia.
