Kristen Ward joined the Arthur M. Blank Family Foundation as our managing director, Mental Health & Well-Being, on September 14, 2026.
Kristen brings a combination of strategic leadership, deep knowledge of mental health and well-being and experience with philanthropy. Most recently, she served as Co-Founder and Vice President of Programs and Knowledge at Mindful Philanthropy (a grantee), where she helped build and advance the field of mental health philanthropy by guiding foundations, philanthropists, and community leaders in developing evidence-based strategies to create meaningful impact.
Throughout her career, Kristen has partnered with funders, researchers, clinicians, advocates, and community organizations to address mental health, addiction, youth development, and community well-being. Kristen holds a Master of Public Health from the University of Pennsylvania and a Bachelor of Arts from Princeton University.
