Peter Brown

Sr. Program Officer, Environment

Peter Brown is a senior program officer of Environment for the Arthur M. Blank Family Foundation, based out of the foundation’s Livingston, Montana office. In this role, he develops and manages a strategic portfolio of grants with partner organizations that will further the work of the Land strategy, which aims to protect and improve the management of intact grasslands in Montana for the ecosystem benefits they provide.

Peter has worked professionally in the conservation sector in Montana for the past 20 years. This work has included permanent land protection strategies, collaborative conservation efforts with multiple partners and biological surveys of rare and threatened species.

Peter is from Montana, where he grew up on a family ranch near Helena. He attended the University of Montana and earned a Master of Science in Forestry and Conservation.
