Rachel Usher joined the Arthur M. Blank Family Foundation staff in July 2024 and serves as the program officer for Environment. In this role, Rachel will support clean energy grantmaking.

Rachel was previously with the Southeast Sustainability Directors Network, where she worked as a policy manager. Her work focused on supporting state and local government leaders in energy policy and regulatory issues in Georgia, Florida and Tennessee.

Rachel grew up in Savannah but has lived in Atlanta for many years. This includes time at Emory University, where she earned her Masters of Public Health.
