Rupal Shah
DIRECTOR, GRANTS MANAGEMENT
Rupal joined the Arthur M. Blank Family Foundation as the director of grants management in August 2024. In this position, she will oversee grants management operations supporting the foundation’s strategic grantmaking objectives.
Rupal brings two decades of expertise in the nonprofit and philanthropic sectors to her new role. Before joining the foundation, she served as the director of operations, research and evaluation at the Community Foundation for Greater Atlanta, overseeing community impact grantmaking and evaluation initiatives. Her career also includes positions at the Colorado Health Foundation and Buell Foundation. Rupal has served on several commissions and boards, such as the Denver Asian American Pacific Islander Commission and the Environmental Justice Advisory Board for the State of Colorado. Throughout her career, she has consistently championed community voice and equity in her work.
Originally from Atlanta, Rupal has lived and worked in Colorado and Washington State. She and her family returned to Atlanta in 2022 to raise their young son among extended family. In addition to enjoying time with family, Rupal appreciates the outdoors, traveling, reading, and exploring Atlanta.
Rupal holds a Bachelor of Science in Management from the Georgia Institute of Technology with a minor in Information Technology and a Master’s in Public Administration from Georgia State University.
