Joshua Kimball currently leads Data Science and Machine Learning at recent “unicorn,” Calendly. Prior to this, he was the Chief Data Scientist at an Atlanta-based advertising technology startup, Videa.tv, and he built data platforms at the Bank of New York Mellon and Teach For America–where he met his wife, Dena!
He completed his PhD and Masters in Computer Science at Georgia Institute of Technology. His research lies at the intersection of Database Theory and Systems. He completed his undergraduate studies at Carnegie Mellon University.
He and Dena, and their two girls, Nadia and Nessa, reside in Inman Park in Atlanta, GA. He loves spending time outdoors with his family. Besides the Arthur M. Blank Family Foundation, he serves on the board of STEAM Truck.
