The Arthur M. Blank Family Foundation Grants $25,000 To The American Heart Association In Honor Of Damar Hamlin

Family foundation of Atlanta Falcons owner donates in support of Buffalo Bills player

ATLANTA – Jan. 5, 2023 – The Arthur M. Blank Family Foundation today announced a $25,000 grant to the American Heart Association, a premiere organization researching and supporting heart health, in response to the cardiac arrest suffered by Buffalo Bills safety Damar Hamlin.

“My family and I, and the entire Atlanta Falcons organization, send our sincere love and support to Damar Hamlin, his loved ones and the entire Buffalo Bills family,” said Arthur M. Blank, chairman, the Arthur M. Blank Family Foundation, and owner, the Atlanta Falcons. “We’d like to honor Damar through a donation to the American Heart Association in support of their community training that teaches members how to respond to cardiac arrest with CPR and defibrillators. It is my deepest hope and prayer that Damar rises from this tragic incident, and we can in turn save countless lives moving forward by learning more about life-saving cardiac measures.”

The American Heart Association is a relentless force for a world of longer, healthier lives. The nonprofit is dedicated to ensuring equitable health in all communities. Through collaboration with numerous organizations, and powered by millions of volunteers, it funds innovative research, advocates for the public’s health and shares lifesaving resources. The organization has been a leading source of health information for nearly a century.
